The Sierra Business Council and Placer County Sierra Small Business Development Center will open a North Tahoe satellite office for business consulting, located in the Placer County Administrative Center at 775 North Lake Blvd. in the city of Tahoe.
Consulting services will be offered the second Wednesday of each month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with four appointments available per day, starting April 10.
Sierra SBDC offers free, one-on-one and confidential expert training and consulting services designed to help new and existing businesses start up and grow. Consulting areas include access to capital, alternative financing, business planning, cash flow management, digital marketing, operations and much more.
To make an appointment with a consultant in Tahoe City, applicants can register for the services by visiting https://nc.ecenterdirect.com/signup. After submitting the application, the Sierra SBDC team will contact applicants directly to schedule appointments.
Sierra SBDC serves an area of seven counties comprising the counties of Nevada, Plumas, Sierra, Lassen, Modoc, Placer and El Dorado. The center is partially funded by a grant from the Small Business Administration. Additional funding comes from public and private partners, including Placer County.
