PQM Consultants has been involved in the development of a Threat, Vulnerability and Risk Analysis (TVRA) method and its application to communications standards. The method considers potential threats to a system and uses a systematic process to identify weakness and vulnerabilities before determining a comparative value for each identified risk. With this analysis complete, it is a straightfoward task to formulate appropriate countermeasures for each risk.

 

Working with security specialists Dr Siv Hilde Houmb of Secure-NOK AS and Scott Cadzow of C3L, we are able to offer consultancy on a wide range of communications security subjects from the initial analysis of a system through to the implementation of countermeasures which comply with the common ITC security criteria specified in the ISO/IEC 15408 series of standards.
